NARS Dual Intensity Blush

by Sarah

After the release of their Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette (review here; tutorial here); NARS has added duo blushes to their dual intensity line. Featuring 6 complimentary shades, these blushes work in the same powder/cream concept as the eyeshadows.

“These dual-intensity, silky, wet or dry blushes are uniquely formulated with NARS’ exclusive Translucent Prismatic Technology, which allows for multidimensional effects. With a lightweight texture for a flawless finish and true color application, each duo features two ultra-modern shades that can be worn alone or layered together for limitless looks and versatility. Apply these shades wet to achieve a high-impact flush or dry to get a natural-looking glow”

I love that these blushes can be used both wet or dry. We see this often in eyeshadows but it’s a great option to have for cheek color too. So whether you prefer powder formulas orΒ you’d rather stick to the creamy, dewy looks, these blushesΒ take care of both.

WithΒ NARS being renowned for their blush formulas, I also think they did a great job in designingΒ such complimentary color combos. You can mix the colors to create your own shade or layer them individually to achieveΒ dimension.

The blushes are $45 each and although they were released as part of NARS Spring 2015 collection, I’m thinking they just might become part of the permanent range. I’ll keep you posted ;)

Hope you all have a great day!! xx
