Tarte Palettes 2015

by Sarah

If I had to choose one brand which basically “kills it” with their palette releases, I’d choose Tarte Cosmetics hands down.

From their color and texture variations, inclusion of their magic ingredient which is Amazonian clay in all their products, to the stunning packaging, Tarte Cosmetics raises the bar in palette design every single time. This year alone, there’s been a huge collection of amazing palettes and Tarte has now added couple of more new additions to the mix.

Pick and choose your favorite(s) below but be quick as they’re all limited edition ;)

Tarte Empower Flower Collectors Palette ($42) – BUY HERE

Fresh off the press, this palette is the newest addition to Tarte’s palette family. Featuring 8 brand new neutral eyeshadows and 3 blushes – including Tarte’s cult favorite Park Ave Princess, this is a great palette to create your everyday looks with minimal fuss.

Tarte Showstopper Clay Palette ($38) – BUY HERE

My makeup loving heart flutters every time I see this palette! Coupled with Tarte’s signature purple color embossed in snakeskin print on the compact lid, I’d be happy to just sit there and stare at it for hours :)

The palette features 6 neutral bronze/brown eyeshadows, a full size Amazonian clay blush, bronzer and highlighter. Considering you can use the eyeshadows wet and turn the darker colors into liners, this palette is practically all you need to achieve countless looks.

Tarte Showstopper Clay Palette is going to be my summer makeup grab with those beautiful bronze shades and highlight/contour color addition. Plus, it’s in a compact! And for $38, you can’t beat the price!

Now if only I can resist picking up the remaining Tarte compacts they have released for limited edition…..

As always, I would love to see a swatch review and tutorial for one of these compacts :)

Hi Sydney! So nice to hear from you, I hope you’ve been well. Showstopper palette is my favorite too. They really included some gorgeous shades in there. I have a lot of new products I’m reviewing at the moment, if I can make it on time before all these ltd edition palettes sell out, I will most definitely review and do a tutorial too ;) Have a great weekend!! xx

I have the rainforest palette. The shadows are so sleek and matte, love it! The case is beautiful, even though mine is a little hard to open… : ) Oh….I haven’t seen the ShowStopper, MEOW!! Going to check that one out.

Are you still hanging in Hawaii Miss Sarah….still jealous! I worked over in Honolulu International a few years back with ANA Japan Air. Was amazed with that airport, so breathtaking. Couldn’t believe all the newly purchased LV’s going down those luggage terminals back to Japan, lol!! It was just too funny. Talk soon.

Sarah April 9, 2015 - 5:02 am

Hi Trisha!! Oh I’m glad to get some feedback on the Rainforest Palette. My sister has been pondering if she should get it so I’ll let her know a trusted follower gives it the thumbs up ;)
I hesitantly left Hawaii 4 days ago…til next time. I go back quite often as it’s like a second home but I miss everything about it when I’m not there :( Do you have any plans to go back?
I know what you mean about the designer bags too lol; I had an eye opening experience about how some people live when I was in Singapore last year. I still can’t figure out how some things work lol Hope you’re having a good week! xx

Trisha April 9, 2015 - 4:19 pm

Glad you’re back, sorry you had to leave that beauty of a place! Yes, let the sis know she will really enjoy that palette. As for Hawaii, YES, I will most definitely visit again! I stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. That place is like a home away from home, you never have to leave the hotel, shopping and all right at your fingers. So happy you get to go often, its such a beautiful part of the country. I just wish it was closer and cheaper to visit, lol! Oh and that 12 hour direct flight was a killer….didn’t forget that!
For now I am saving up to hit Italy in the next year or so, never been and I so want to visit Como, Milan and Sicily. Need some more international travels stamped in my book…. : ) One adventure at a time….Enjoy the week!

Sarah April 10, 2015 - 5:19 am

Oh Italy would be amazing! Just to breathe in the culture would be such an experience. Hilton is gorgeous, all hotels along the strip are good but I agree, the location makes it so much better. You’ll have to let me know when you make it back to Hawaii :) xx

Jeanette April 8, 2015 - 2:31 pm

Tarte Cosmetics are perhaps the most beautiful options on the market. Love them.

Sarah April 8, 2015 - 3:03 pm

Hi Jeanette, I totally agree. I can never walk past their display without swooning over their products. Hope you’re well!! xx
