I love it when brands collaborate with pro makeup artists and I love it even more when they’re both my favorites already!

Nudestix just launched their Jetsetter Set in collaboration with celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips; and it’s pretty much everything you need to create practical yet versatile looks on the go….

Nudestix is one of the most fuss-free makeup brands out there. Their motto is to create easy to use, good quality products which are particularly appealing to those who want to achieve pro results with minimal time and effort. And who doesn’t love that!

Majorty of Nudestix products are in jumbo pencil form and every product comes in a chic tin. If you travel as often as I do, you’d appreciate even more how handy the Nudestix range is.

Mary Phillips is a celebrity makeup artist who works with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Olivia Munn, Emily Ratajkowski, Kendall Jenner and Chrissy Tiegen…just to name a few.

Her modern, flawless approach to makeup really resonates with my personal style so I was ecstatic to see her collaborate with Nudestix to create a 8-piece set – simply named the Jetsetter.

The Jetsetter Set includes 6 jumbo pencils (4 eyeshadows + 2 Lip & Cheek colors); 1 Nudies All Over Face Color and an adorable makeup bag decorated with embroidered travel icons. The pencils and the all over face color also come with their own tin casing so you’re already packed and ready to go.

The shades are versatile, the formulas are long wearing and all products are multi-use…yessss thank you!

The colors of the eyeshadows are universally flattering neutral tones, some with shimmering copper and rose gold tones, as well as an intense dark matte cocoa. They can be used as eyeshadows; as eyeshadow bases for other colors; or as eye liners.

The formula is super creamy and opaque. They can be blended either with fingers or eye shadow brushes. They also layer seamlessly.

The Lip & Cheek colors are a gel formula. Opaque with just enough shine, I’d say they’re in between a satin and a gloss finish.

Both pencils are neutral and both feature a pink undertone which are quite similar. I wish one of the colors had a more warm/peach undertone. Or even a brighter, more intense shade like a coral. Nevertheless, they’re both very pretty.

As with all Nudestix pencils, there’s a sharpener included in the tin for these eye and lip/cheek pencils.

I must admit, one thing I’d love to see Nudestix do, is change their pencils to twist-up style. I find so much product gets wasted by sharpening, especially with lip products.

Nudies All Over Face Color is a cream stick which can be used as blush, contour, eye color as well as lipstick. There’s a kabuki brush on the base of the stick so you can blend away seamlessly.

The color is called In The Nude and has a peachy undertone – so I guess it kind of makes up for the lip & cheek pencils both being pink. The texture is smooth and creamy, and blends easily. Again, it comes in its own tin.

And then there’s the generous sized makeup bag. Whether you carry your pencils in their tins or pack them into the adorable makeup bag, this set has thought of everything in terms of storage.

A double-sided how to face chart is also included. One side shows how to create a soft Beachy Days look, and the other is a glam City Nights look. Draw & Smudge is the title to the instructions and it really is that easy!

Nudestix Jetsetter Set How To

If you’re a fan of Nudestix; or you’re a newcomer to the brand, the Jetsetter Set is great value for money featuring plenty of wearable colors for the whole face.

Nudestix x Mary Phillips Jetsetter Set retails at $69 and is limited edition, so make sure you get your hands on it before they disappear.

Do the eye pencils crease? I wanna try them but I worry they’ll move and melt and become a huge mess. The set looks beautiful.

Hi Sam, no they don’t crease or move at all. The formula is long wearing so whilst it gives you plenty of time to work with during application, it then sets and becomes budge proof. Super handy!
