Natasha Denona Glam Face Palette

by Sarah

Couple of posts back, I did a review of Patrick Ta Major Headlines Blush Palette, and how it didn’t perform the best so I exchanged it to another palette.

Well, that palette is Natasha Denona Glam Face Palette in Dark..and I’m kinda kicking myself that I didn’t purchase this product sooner..

Natasha Denona Glam Face Palette in Dark

I absolutely love Natasha Denona products. From her eyeshadow range to face palettes, the quality and performance of her line never fails.

During the holidays, Natasha Denona released two limited edition Glam Face Palettes in Light and Dark.

Featuring a blend of matte and shimmer eyeshadows, along with a blush and highlight, this is an all-in-one palette of neutral, earthy tones.

The packaging is also stunning. Sleek with clean lines, the mirror finish of the compact definitely gives it that glam look which matches the name perfectly.

As mentioned earlier, there are two shades of this palette; Light and Dark. Although the color theme is neutral on both, the depth of shades in the Dark palette drew me in more.

There are 3 matte and 2 shimmer finish eyeshadows; the shimmers are almost bordering on metallic finish actually.

There’s a gorgeous warm undertone blush that’s a blend of coral and soft terracotta, as well as a champagne color highlighter.

The eyeshadows are labelled with where to use each shade, so it takes the guess work out of how to use the palette – not that there are any rules.

Yes the colors are gorgeous to say the least, but its the quality and the performance that yet again reminds me why I love Natasha Denona products.

The swatches below are literally one swipe – I’m talking barely touched the pan type of one-swipe.

The matte eyeshadows are super silky and they blend seamlessly. The colors are great for everyday looks (as a soft wash of color or even a smudged liner); or for intense glam evening looks (with darker shades and of course the shimmers).

The shimmers are just as beautiful. I would usually give the option of using shimmer shadows with a wet brush to intensify the finish but these don’t even need that.

The blush has a very interesting texture, which I think is a new formula for Natasha Denona. It’s almost like a mousse-cream hybrid. The textured overspray feels fluffy to the touch and smooths out into a gorgeous veil of color.

The highlighter is also buttery and shimmery – no glitters, sparkles or chunks, which is my preferred highlighter finish. Stunning all round.

I cannot say enough good things about this palette. So much so, that I’m already considering getting the Light version too.

The color family, the quality and application of every single shade, the packaging and the multi-use textures all in the one palette makes this a winner on all fronts.

If you’re after a face palette, or never tried Natasha Denona products before but would like to, this palette is an absolute must.
