That Healthy Glow Part 3

(Part 1: Cream Bronzers here; Part 2: Powder Bronzers here )

If you’re as impatient and somewhat lazy as I am, spray tans and gradually developing formulas may not be your thing…hence I introduce you to the quick fixes…instant (wash-off) tanning products!

St Tropez Bronzing Mousse - ModelCo One Night Tan - Nars Laguna Illuminator

St Tropez Bronzing Mousse – ModelCo One Night Tan – Nars Laguna Illuminator

St Tropez Bronzing Mousse:  This product is amazing!  Although there is also a lotion formula, I love the lightness and ease of this instant tanning mousse.  The mousse itself is colored so you see exactly where you’re applying the product and how much.  It dries instantly and does not transfer to clothes; stays on until you wash it off.  St Tropez brand specialises in tanning products and regarding color and longevity, they are very hard to beat in their field.  Product range is also available in many other formulas including gradual tans.

ModelCo One Night Tan: This is exactly the same concept as the St Tropez; comes in a tinted mousse form but slightly cheaper in price.  Great color but has more warmth compared to the St Tropez.  ModelCo brand also has many other tanning lotion, cream and spray varities if you prefer at home tanning options to salon treatments.

Nars Laguna Illuminator:  I know, I know, it’s Laguna again but I promise this is the last of the Laguna range I own (as I covered the others in the previous That Healthy Glow posts).  The Laguna Illuminator is a light tinted lotion, and I use this product over instant tanners such as the St Tropez and ModelCo as I mentioned above.  With the help of tiny shimmers it contains, this lotion gives a beautiful sheen to the skin, as well as enhancing the color you already achieved.  You can certainly use this product on its own, but I just love the dimension and glow it gives when combined with the instant tanners (or gradual tan products).  Love this!

Have you guys seen this 2013 St Torpez campaign with Kate Moss?

Any product which stays although you wash it?

Sarah May 15, 2013 - 12:36 pm

Hi Elif, yes all these brands have gradual developing tanning products available. I personally love the St Tropez range because of the color and the longevity, which you can get more information from this link
The “self tan” and “gradual tan” tabs on top of the page will give you all the different product options ;)
