Hello beauties!!! As a makeup artist, one of the questions I get asked the most is: “how do I do smoky eyes?”. Β It’s one of my favorite looks too and as scary as the idea may seem, once you try it and practice a little, you’ll become a smokey eye pro in no time ;)
Smoky eye refers to the eyeshadow technique, rather than the colors used. Β The idea is to have the most concentrated color along the base of the lashes and blend it upwards – towards the brow. Β As the color goes up, it fades into the lightest shade (or into nothing). Β The most Β important step when doing a smoky eye is to blend blend and blend! Β The idea is to merge the colours into one another, so there are no obvious lines.
In this post, I’ve done my personal favorite which I call Dark Chocolate. Β I listed all the colors and the tools I’ve used to achieve the Dark Chocolate smoky eye but you can use whatever products/tools you have and change the colors to your liking.
