Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer

by Sarah

Charlotte Tilbury has been on a roll lately dropping new products pretty much every week.

Due to current shipping delays, I received some of my packages a little later than usual but Charlotte Tilbury’s new Airbrush Bronzer was a delivery I’d been eagerly awaiting.

It’s finally arrived, and I’ve put it to the test so lets dive right into my thoughts on this bronzer…

If you’re familiar with Charlotte Tilbury products, or know of my personal favorite products, you probably also know that her Airbrush Flawless Powder is an absolute hit. I haven’t touched any of my other powders since I purchased that compact – which has been just over couple of years now.

So when Charlotte Tilbury announced they were now launching bronzers in the same formula as this best selling powder, I knew it was destined to be another favorite.

Encased in a stunning shell design compact, this bronzer contains a whopping 0.56oz/16g of product. The only other bronzer that comes close is my Marc Jacobs Tan-Tastic – which I included side by side comparison for you at the end of the post.

The pan itself is actually a refill so once you finish the current pan, you don’t need to repurchase the whole compact again. Good for the environment and also gives the flexibility of changing up the colors depending on your seasonal skin tone.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer – #3 Tan

Airbrush Flawless Bronzer comes in four matte shades – fair, medium, tan and deep.

I purchased color #3 which is Tan (for my NC35 skin tone). I could easily get away with color #2 Medium as well but I usually double up my bronzers as a contour too and Tan is slightly darker and cooler in undertone than the Medium which is why I opted for that.

I’m really happy with my choice, especially that the formula is really easy to work with so you can use as little as you like to achieve a more natural look or layer it to sculpt the face. If you’re the same skin tone as me but prefer a warmer look, then #2 Medium is perfectly fine too.

Now, lets talk about the formula, application and performance…

As with the original powder formula that inspired these bronzers, the powder itself is super fine-milled. This helps give the skin that flawless airbrush look – which is quite fitting considering the name.

The biggest plus about such formula is how effortlessly it blends and hence that soft diffused finish which looks like part of the skin.

The product doesn’t get patchy or muddy no matter how much you build it up. It also stays put unlike some powder bronzers which tend to disappear after couple of hours of wear time.

Just as I’m an avid fan of Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Powder, I also love the new bronzer and highly recommend it.
The bronzer retails at $55 and can be purchased HERE

Furthermore, Charlotte Tilbury released a new Desert Haze all-matte eyeshadow quad and a bronzer brush along with the launch of the bronzers. Following on from that collection, more products including lipsticks and skincare have been added to the Charlotte Tilbury line.
