BeautyProduct Reviews YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush April 22, 2015 Apparently there’s a liquid blush shortage…at least that’s what I found out when I had this bright idea of purchasing a fuss-free liquid formula that I could effortlessly smooth onto my cheeks and be done with it. There are plenty of cream and stick formulas on the market but not so much in the liquid form I was after. Closest I could get to what I had in mind was YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush and now that I’ve used it for some time, I definitely have a new favorite. YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush for Lips & Cheeks These babies were released last year but it wasn’t until recently that I started looking for a product like this so I never really paid any attention to them before. The genius about this formula is it doubles up as cheek and lip color which is a bonus considering I would have bought it even if it was just blush. I was after a healthy peachy glow so I went with No:7 Corail Affranchi which is a gorgeous coral shade with peach undertones. Shop YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush HERE YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush No:7 Corail Affranchi The formula is quite creamy so it’s still not as “lotion-like” as I was hoping but it’s also not solid like pot/stick formulas. I particularly wanted something light and fluffy in texture so it would smooth onto my skin without interfering with my foundation or whatever base product I had on. I must say this Baby Doll formula did the trick as it blends effortlessly with a light touch. It has a spongy doe-foot applicator and hugs the lips quite comfortably when used as lipstick. Opacity is sheer at first application but it is buildable. Considering it doubles up as lip/cheek product, I’d rather have the option of building it up than to have to sheer it away. YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush No:7 Corail Affranchi There’s no shimmer or glitter but it does leave a healthy sheen on the skin. It sets within minutes and I haven’t had any issues with it moving around when I use it as a blush. It’s not as long-wearing on the lips as some other liquid lipstick formulas but lasts for 3-4 hours with a built up application. The YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush comes in so many gorgeous shades. Now that I’ve tried it and quite impressed with the formula and wear of it, I will definitely go back for more colors. YSL Baby Doll (0.33fl oz bottle) retails at $40 and well worth the price tag considering a little goes a long way and being a multi-use product ;) Have any of you tried this product?
