BeautyProduct Reviews Yadah Korean Beauty January 25, 2017 There’s no denying the influence of Korean products in our beauty industry, especially over the past few years. There are now many brands stocked in Sephora, as well as online which are effective, innovative and fun to say the least. When BB Cosmetics which is a huge online store for all things Korean beauty contacted me to ask if I wanted to try some of their products, I jumped at the chance. I selected two items from their Yadah range and I’ve been testing them out with amazing results… BB Cosmetics features some of the most renowned Korean brands including makeup, skincare (must see all their face masks!), hair and body products and they offer free worldwide shipping. The company was kind enough to offer my followers 8% off site wide (not commission or incentive based for me). I tried many drugstore and high end BB creams in the past but I always go back to the original Korean formulas as there’s usually a big difference in consistency and finish. What I found pleasantly surprising about this BB cream is that it’s quite similar to my all time favorite Rachel K CC cream – at a fraction of the cost and with the added bonus of the lip/cheek color. Yadah Twin Angel BB Cream with Lip & Cheek Color This BB cream is quite ‘creamy’ in texture but it dries to almost a satin finish with no oily residue at all. The best part is its smoothing effect. It fills pores and fine lines instantly without creasing. I’ve used this cream both on its own and under foundation as a primer and both times the results have been amazing in terms of finish and longevity. It also contains SPF35. The lip and cheek color is a soft flush of pink. It’s definitely more emollient than the BB cream itself. I felt the need to sheer it out quite a bit to avoid build up, which then made the color too light. It is however great as a lip balm as it contains shea and mango butter which keeps the lips supple and hydrated. Yadah Twin Angel BB Cream with Lip & Cheek Color This product only comes in the one color that I have. Having said that, the product almost melts into the skin so I find after a few minutes of letting it settle, it blends in with my own skin color. If you have light to medium skin, I’m confident you can make this product work on its own or under makeup. For dark to deep skin tones, I would recommend it as a primer/base under your foundation. The Twin Angel BB Cream with Lip & Cheek color is $18.70 for 40ml tube. Yadah Air Powder Pact Seeing as I got the BB Cream, I thought I’d also try Yadah’s Air Powder. OK…that, and the packaging really got me. I mean, can we look at how cute this compact is please. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from this powder so I was blown away by the feel and finish of it from the second I tested it out. To give you guys a comparison, it feels like Charlotte Tilbury’s $45 Airbrush pressed powder. It’s so finely milled and so silky that it literally glides over the skin like a soft veil. Yadah Air Powder Pact The finish is matte and silky with no product build up. It worked particularly well to set my concealer under the eyes without any drying or creasing. It comes with a powder puff for touch ups but I’ve been using it with my brushes. It’s also SPF35 and doesn’t contain any parabens, mineral oils or artificial colorants. As with the BB Cream, the Air Powder Pact also comes in this one shade, which is Natural Beige. However, the finish of this powder is almost translucent which is why I couldn’t swatch it. Nothing showed no matter how much I built it up so I’m sure it’ll work for many different skin tones – especially if you use a setting spray at the end of your makeup application. Air Powder Pact is $18.70 for 40g of product. Yadah Air Powder Pact Overall, I’m so impressed with the quality and wear of both these products from Yadah. They also have skincare products and other color cosmetics items so I’ll definitely go back for more. You can check out all the popular brands including Yaddah on the BB Cosmetics Website. They offer free shipping worldwide and don’t forget to use your 8% Off discount with code: BBSARAH. Happy Shopping! :) What are some of your favorite Korean beauty brands and products?
