BeautyProduct Reviews Tarte In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette December 14, 2015 Tarte’s Tartelette 2: In Bloom Palette is here and I’m thinking the original Tartelette palette might have a serious contender! Due to unknown reasons, it took Tarte just over 3 weeks to deliver this palette to me so you can imagine my frustration, especially that I told you guys about it when I placed my order. I never had this issue with Tarte before so I’m gonna put it down to order overload or time of year. I have another review coming up on their new contour palette which arrived with the same shipment so stay tuned for that also. Shipping dramas aside, it’s now here and as with most of Tarte’s palettes…it definitely did not disappoint… Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Palette In Bloom is part 2 of Tarte’s original all-matte Tartelette eyeshadow palette. Like many, I absolutely adore that palette so when I saw there was a new one in the works – and it had shimmer shades too, I couldn’t pass on it. Featuring 12 shadows in total – 3 being shimmer finish, In Bloom palette is a neutral gal’s dream come true. There are gorgeous hues of warm earthy browns, copper and a hint of blush which makes for a great combo of colors. The compact is stunning too! With vibrant flower petal designs and a bold gold imprint of the name, In Bloom palette is an absolute eye catcher. It’s been sitting amongst my “to review” products and gets my attention every time. The mirror covers the whole lid inside which is a great bonus, especially when travelling. Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Palette Quality of the shadows are exactly what we’ve come to expect from Tarte – especially with their Tartelette and round-compact palettes: colors are pigmented, they blend beautifully and shimmer shades really stand out. Of course the darker colors can also be used with wet brushes as liners or to intensify the look for night time. It’s only after I uploaded the photos from my camera to my laptop that I realised the very top left shade Charmer came out more chalky in the pictures than it is in person. It’s still a very light color but has a hint of vanilla than the stark white it appears in my swatch here. If you’re after a warm neutral palette with a bit of shimmer, In Bloom palette is a great option. I love that it’s so compact (and pretty) and has all the essential colors to create a lot of different looks. *I actually shot a quick video of it which will be posted to my Instagram (@sarahbeautypov) if you’d like to check it out there also. Tartelette 2 In Bloom palette retails at $45 and can be purchased here Have you purchased this palette? What do you think of it? I agree with everything you said in your review and your photos are fantastic. I can create so many looks with this palette and I appreciate them having both a warm and cool dark brown shade. I always get compliments when I do a complete eye look with it. I love that you don’t need primer, but if you do use it the shades are even more vibrant and long lasting. I always end up using it with other palettes, because 1there are several options for base, crease and depth/liner shades – Matte and shimmer. Whoever curated this beauty is brilliant! The compact is stunningly beautiful and very expensive looking. It’s a MUST Have IMO because it works for people with warm or cool (me) undertones. Reply Sarah November 27, 2016 at 5:33 am Thank you so much for sharing your experience and feedback with this palette. I totally agree; it has a great balance of colors and finishes. Tarte really does know how to pull together a neutral eyeshadow palette and I’m usually first in line to add a new one to my collection. If you search Tarte in the search bar, you can see review/swatch posts along with makeup tutorials for other Tarte palettes too ;) Reply Cosmetics lover December 17, 2015 at 2:02 am Very pretty and natural looking.
