Summer fashion usually brings with it bright fun colors and casual comfort. However, different parts of the world have their own unique take on fashion and summer is no exception.
Today’s set was inspired by my love of French films, especially romantic comedies shot by the French Riviera where the sun glistens over the intricate architecture of white buildings, luxury cars parked on the roadside, yachts resting on turquoise waters and of course the classic elegance of fashion!
So I designed this set with subtle creams and soft nudes which can easily be translated into a cocktail outfit or evening wear on a hot summer’s night. I was particularly drawn to the sequin details on the skirt with the warmth of the bronze and a touch of color from the blue/gray patterns (which I paired with a similar color bag for some added contrast).
I added the sunglasses just in case we ever get to strut our stuff on the French Riviera ;)
***All the fashion sets I publish are my own work from page layout to design, to styling. I create my sets to be of inspiration to carry into your own closets; whether you’re interested in the brands I feature or find alternatives to replicate the look.
