Beauty Stila Fall 2014 Collection August 7, 2014 Everytime I think ‘I’m done with eyeshadow palettes’, another company brings out glistening compacts with jewel-like eyeshadows shimmering away calling my name again. The limited edition Eyes Are The Window eyeshadow palettes from Stila’s 2014 Fall Collection are doing just that…and not just one but all of them! With these new limited edition palettes, Stila has definitely tried something new by making the compacts much more glam and moving away from the more casual cardboard packaging they used in their previous palette releases. This new look may be a step in a new direction with packaging but they’re also celebrating their 20th year so it could very well be a one off. Either way, these compacts are looking amazing! There are 4 Eyes Are the Window eyeshadow palettes, 6 lipglosses and a mascara within this collection. The palettes are inspired by the concept of ‘beauty being revealed from within’ and the compacts are named Mind, Body, Spirit and Soul. Featuring rose gold, white gold and gold casings, each compact features 12 colors ranging from soft vanilla and bronze tones to matte shadows, as well as brighter hues. Stila Magnificent Metals Lipgloss – Get it HERE Mile High Mascara (not pictured) – Get it HERE I’ve come to love Stila products, particularly their eyeshadows after purchasing their In The Light eyeshadow palette couple of years ago. The quality of their shadows are beautiful. They’re not only highly pigmented but they blend seamlessly. These new edition palettes are $49 each which is not cheap, but considering the packaging, the quality of the shadows and comparing it to the pricing of majority of the popular palettes out there, they would be well worth the investment. They are however limited edition so be quick to get your hands on your favorite before they disappear. If you had to pick one palette above, which one would you go for? xx Stila Fall 2014 Collection was last modified: August 7th, 2014 by Sarah 15 comments 0 Facebook Twitter Google + Pinterest Sarah previous post Lancome Grandiose Mascara next post On a different note today… You may also like Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette June 1, 2015 Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette September 17, 2014 Becca Blushed Copper Shimmering Skin Perfector March 25, 2015 NARS Under Cover Summer 2016 April 19, 2016 Favourite Makeup Products Series: Eyes August 7, 2013 Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush Palette October 11, 2016 Beyonce – The Visual Album Makeup Hair... Think I’m going to get mind and soul I’m a palette junky would be great additions to my collection. Reply Sarah August 19, 2014 at 10:26 am Hi Erica, Mind and Soul are also my favorites. I know what you mean about being a palette junky…one eyeshadow is tempting enough and I can never say no to many of them lined up in a compact :)) Reply Jackie Hanes August 9, 2014 at 11:34 am Hi Sarah I just bought the spirit compact and I love it! Like you said the quality is amazing! I bought many items you recommended and they never fail. Thank you thank you!!! Reply Sarah August 12, 2014 at 5:14 pm Thank you Jackie! Enjoy your new palette and if you post any looks you’ve created, please tag me, I’d love to see them xx Reply Sydney August 9, 2014 at 4:38 am SOUL by far #1 for me! I always look for a combination of matte & glitter shadows in an eyeshadow compact. And, let’s be honest, for the quality in Stila products, $49 is well worth it for me, especially with the amazing selection of brights and neutrals in these compacts. Great review as always Sarah! :) Reply Sarah August 9, 2014 at 11:18 am I agree with you on the price point Sydney. Considering all other popular palettes have been around the $45-$50 mark, I think packaging and quality alone justifies these Stila palettes. I too am leaning more towards the Soul palette, it has a really good balance of shades :) xx Reply Sydney August 12, 2014 at 2:56 pm Could you do a makeup tutorial over these palettes?!?!? :) Reply Sarah August 12, 2014 at 5:17 pm Hi Sydney, I’m still contemplating over these palettes but I know we’re due for a makeup tutorial so I’ll see what I can do ;) Reply Melissa August 8, 2014 at 5:26 pm I like all the natural colors but I’m already in love with the body palette!!!! The green and the purple look stunning! Reply Ann August 7, 2014 at 9:27 pm Picking one palette would be difficult for me. How about we try to narrow it down to 2 palettes. Then my choice would be MIND and SOUL. Just think of all the possibilities while using these shades. OVERLOAD :) Reply Sarah August 8, 2014 at 4:04 am great choices indeed Ann, I think narrowing it down, I too would go for Mind and Soul too :) xx Reply Lucille August 7, 2014 at 1:30 pm I love these! I would get Soul and Mind cos I like a combo of matt and shimmer. Lovely pallettes all of them tho Reply Sarah August 8, 2014 at 4:05 am great point Lucille, the Mind palette is all mattes so those two palettes would make a great combo ;) xx Reply Emily August 7, 2014 at 11:09 am Oh wow! These are really beautiful, I can’t decide which one either lol Reply Sarah August 8, 2014 at 4:06 am They definitely did a great job in confusing makeup lovers :)) xx Reply Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Notify me when new comments are added.
