Stepping Out

August 4, 2014

Boyfriend jeans! when they first started to surface, and we started to pair them up with heels and pumps and all sorts of different looks, I had a feeling they would be here to stay. And I’m so glad they keep surfacing cos a good pair of boyfriend jeans is a staple item.

Today’s set is a great example of how boyfriend jeans can be styled, so that even though you have the casual comfort factor, you still turn heads :) I paired these Current Elliot jeans with a nude pair of sandals, bag and a belt. Keeping the accessories within the neutral family not only keeps the look subtle but gives you plenty of options for the top – whether you add a pop of color like I did or prints.

The most important factor to keep in mind when shopping for boyfriend jeans is of course the fit and the trick lies in the hip area. Finding a pair that sits perfectly against the hips (without being too slouchy or too tight) will ensure the jeans will still flatter the feminine lines and avoid looking too bulky ;)

If you have any questions regarding the pieces in this set, please leave a message in the comments section below ;) xx
