Pantone Colors Of The Year 2016

by Sarah

It’s that time again where Pantone, the color people, have just announced Color Of The Year for 2016 – and for the first time it’s not one but two colors sharing the limelight.

Sephora always releases a Pantone color of the year collection (due to launch soon), so I thought I’d give you guys the heads up for your makeup and fashion purchases for the new year. Introducing Pantone Colors Of The Year 2016: Rose Quartz & Serenity…

Pantone Colors Of The Year 2016

I’ve absolutely loved previous years’ picks, especially last year’s rich marsala but I’ve never been a pastel type of person (unless it’s nude or blush shades). Naturally I was a bit undecided about not one but two pastel shades making the cut as colors of the year. However, the more I see them and explore ways to incorporate them into makeup and fashion, the more they’re growing on me.

I can see the fashion aspect of it taking over especially for spring/summer collections and I will do a post on all the upcoming trends. As for makeup, Sephora introduced a sneak peek of their Rose Quartz & Serenity collection. I’ll do an update on the launch date when I get more information or you can register for an email update on Sephora’s Pantone page HERE

Oh how lovely. Simply gorgeous colors that will mix well with browns , silver , or rose gold.

And yes I would try the blue lipstick. As always, wonderful post. Merry Christmas!
