BeautyNails Olivia Palermo x Ciate London Nail Collection June 29, 2015 If you’re interested in fashion, or you like scrolling through fashion sites or magazines, you must have seen the name Olivia Palermo or her pictures at least once…OK, actually…plastered all over. I must admit, I don’t know how she does it but she has the most amazing talent of putting together an outfit and carrying it off so well. Olivia Palermo just recently collaborated with Ciate London to create a mini collection of nail polish; and it perfectly embodies the classic yet modern style she represents… Olivia Palermo x Ciate London Nail Collection 2015 Inspired by French gifting boxes for the outer packaging, Olivia was involved in the creative process of this collection from the beginning. Consisting of 3 essential shades, including Sundays – a pale pink suitable for everyday; Nantucket – a vibrant coral and Hutch – a classic red, Olivia wanted to make sure her personal style was translated into the products. Nantucket – Hutch – Sundays The polishes have color-lock technology making them long lasting and also contain strengthening ingredients to nourish the nails. They retail at $24 each and they are limited edition at Sephora and can now be purchased HERE Furthermore, Olivia created a capsule collection of makeup products for the brand which includes a collagen infused lipstick, a smokey eye palette, a contour palette and additional nail colors. These products are set to launch in September and I’m excited to see what they’ll be like as her beauty and makeup style is just as famous as her fashion sense. NYC was great, met up with some friends and family. Several of us went and saw Wicked for the second time, so much fun. I can’t go to the city without seeing a show, I am a nut like that! Of course I stopped into Sephora and MAC….I picked up a few items you recommended from your contour & highlight post. I picked up the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder and Smashbox Contour Trio. So far I prefer the sculpting powder, it’s just easier for me to work with and oh so beautiful! At MAC I picked up a few of those extra dimension shadows (a natural flirt, smoky mauve, and stolen moment), I am so…loving these shadows. If you have any of them would love to see how you would create a look. I am enjoying getting to know these new products. I probably would never have tried them if not for you, so thank you so much for sharing your wealth of information, I trust your reviews. A very Happy Fourth to you and your family! : ) Reply Sarah July 3, 2015 at 1:11 pm Oh your time in NYC sounds amazing! The makeup shopping would have been a great bonus too :) I’m glad you’re enjoying the new products, nothing makes me happier to get such feedback. I swatched the MAC shadows but I have so many shadows that I held off on buying any. Smoky Mauve and Stolen Moment caught my attention too; both stunning colors, great choice! If you enjoy these type of shadows, you have to check out Makeup Geek’s foiled shadows. They’re incredible!! They just added more colors to their line so well worth a look – much cheaper too. Happy 4th to you also Trisha!! xx Reply Trisha June 29, 2015 at 6:12 pm Hi Sarah – Hope all is well with you!! I love Olivia, we have a mutual friend in NYC so I hear a lot of what she is up too. She is definitely nicer than she appears at times in some photos, lol… I appreciate that she does her own makeup and doesn’t require an assistant to always be around making her look good! I can’t wait to see what see comes up with in beauty products, I think it is a win win for us all, she is a classy person. Enjoy your week : ) Reply Sarah June 30, 2015 at 5:53 am Hi Trisha, I’m doing OK. Hope your NYC trip was good. I always thought Olivia Palermo would be sweet natured so it’s good to get confirmation that she really is :) I too like that there’s an element of simplicity about her which is so classy at the same time. I’ll do a post on the new products as soon as I receive the press release. Have a great week!! xx Reply Leave a Comment Cancel Reply Notify me when new comments are added.
