Nudestix Jetsetter Makeup Tutorial

by Sarah

Hi beauties! I recently shared my review of Nudestix Jetsetter Set, in collaboration with celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips – post here

I love the color palette and versatility of this set, so I wanted to create a practical yet glam eye makeup look with it…

I get a lot of questions about Nudestix products as majority of their range is in jumbo pencil form. Cream based products can be tricky to work with so I always get asked “but can you create more intense looks?”

The short answer is: absolutely!

Nudestix are usually promoted for their easy and practical application for everyday looks but creating intense glam looks are just as simple. So I did this shimmery, chocolate-y, smokey look using the gorgeous colors from the Jetsetter Set

Below are the colors in this set. Posh and Pulse are lip/cheek colors. In The Nude is an all over face color which can be used on the eyes, cheeks and lips. They come with an adorable makeup bag and Nudestix signature black tin.

The concept of this look is to place the colors in “light to dark color order” on the eye and blend into each other. The colors in this set all complement each other so it makes it even easier to work with.

Only other items you need is your favorite black mascara, couple of eyeshadow blending brushes and a pencil brush for smudging – which I listed on the instruction picture below.

TIP: Easiest way to apply these pencils is to place the color directly to the area, blend and then move onto the next color. Build intensity as you go along to prevent product build up. They set themselves and are budge-proof, including in the waterline.

The color Cocoa was the star of this look with its rich, creamy dark chocolate tone. It blended and wore beautifully, creating most of that sultry, smokey goodness :)

I paired this look with In The Nude All Over Face Color on the cheeks and Pulse Lip Color from the same set.

Nudestix x Mary Phillips Jetsetter Set is $69 and is limited edition. You can get your hands on it here

I always see Nudestix advertise really natural looks. I had no idea the pencils could be used like this. Thanks Sarah!

wow this is gorgeous. I use cream eyeshadows as a base. I’m too scared to experiment with doing a whole look. But this inspired me. Thank you

Working in layers (and blending well) is key when it comes to cream shadows. Glad to hear you’re ready to experiment :)
