BeautyProduct Reviews Nudestix Eyes and Lips March 9, 2017 As much as I love all the bells and whistles of makeup, when it comes to my everyday routine, I’m all about getting professional results with minimum amount of product and fuss. Coupled with my regular travelling, I’m all for practical, multi-use , convenient products which deliver amazing results with little time or effort required. Nudestix range of products tick all the boxes for me so here are some of my favorite eye and lip products from them… SHOP NUDESTIX HERE Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color and Lip & Cheek Color Nudestix concept is all about practicality and convenience. Majority of their products which consist of concealers, eyeshadows and lipsticks (which double up as a cheek color) come in jumbo pencil form. They also have mascaras and brow products, as well as their newly launched All Over Bronze and Glow Stick which has a built in buffing brush on the other end. From long wearing formulas to moisturizing creams, the added bonus of a slim tin container and a sharpener with every pencil purchase makes this brand all the more appealing. Previously, I had only ever used Nudestix lip/cheek colors which I adore but recently I purchased some of their Magnetic Eye Color pencils and I love them just as much! I currently have three Magnetic Eye pencils and so many lip/cheek colors but I’m featuring three on this post to show you the different formulas they come in… Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color and Lip & Cheek Color The Magnetic Eye pencils are creamy, opaque and easily blendable. They’re also long wearing so once they dry, they’re not going anywhere until you decide to take them off. You can use these pencils as eyeliner, eyeshadow or eyeshadow base. **Check out my “How to Make Your Eyeshadow Pop” post to see how pencils like these can literally change your eye makeup game in an instant. I have the colors Gilt – a true gold shimmer which is amazing to use on the inner corners of the eyes, on the brow bone, in the center of the eyelid or even as highlighter on the face. The colors Taupe (cool brown) and Fig (warm brown) are both matte formulas and they create an amazing soft smoky eye in an instant. The lip & cheek colors come in three different formulas: Intense matte, Cream and Gel. As you can see in the swatches too, the shine/gloss factor varies with each formula. My personal favorite is the matte formula, as I feel it has better staying power and doesn’t move around as much when used as blush. Nevertheless all formulas feel beautiful and there’s a great variety of colors to choose from with sheer nudes to intense dark wines. Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color and Lip & Cheek Color Nudestix are available in singles, twin or triple packs – and they release limited edition kits from time to time. Both the packs and the singles come with a convenient matte tin case and a sharpener. Typically, you can comfortably fit three pencils per their standard size tin. I’m a huge fan of Nudestix, so if you’ve never tried them before, or you’d like to simplify your makeup process, I highly recommend their range of practical yet effective products. Nudestix single pencils start at $24.
