BeautyProduct Reviews Nudestix Crayons April 3, 2015 Last year around June, I did an introductory post about a brand named Nudestix – check out that post featuring background info and their full product range here Almost a year after their release, Nudestix have managed to make it into Sephora so you can imagine my excitement when I was browsing the aisles and came across the Nudestix tins (of course with my name written all over them). I got one of their double ended multi-use lip/cheek crayons and I must say: big thumbs up from me! Nudestix has a very simple concept: to have multi-purpose lip, eye, cheek and face products in the form of crayons which are also easily applied with fingers so to eliminate bottles and compacts and makeup tools. Coupled with their stylish matte tin container and a sharpener with every single crayon purchase, Nudestix is sure to make everyday makeup application an absolute breeze. I got the lip/cheek crayon duo in Mystic and Whisper. I love soft nudes and everyday colors which are easy to pair up with any eye look and this color combo was a perfect option. Nudestix Mystic/Whisper lip and cheek crayon comes with black tin container and a sharpener Apart from the convenience factor, what attracted me to the Nudestix crayon was the consistency. They’re designed to be used on cheeks and lips which can be a hard balance to catch. These crayons apply really smoothly, distribute plenty of color without any sticky residue. Staying power is great considering they’re not specifically formulated to be long-wearing. Mystic/Whisper combo is a perfect “my lips but better” shade. It also leaves a healthy rosy tint when worn as blush. All you have to do is draw 2-3 small lines on your cheeks and blend with fingers. You can build up the color as needed, they’re very easy to work with. Nudestix features full range of concealers, eye colors, lip and cheek colors as well as mascara. Their color range is quite neutral and earthy, though they have a few darker shades for the eyes to take your looks up a notch for added drama. After their initial release, they’ve also added contour sticks, blemish and blur pencils as well as lip pens to their collection. All products retail at $24 and include the tin container (featuring a full mirror in the lid) as well as a sharpener. It’s super convenient for travel to take all your favorite crayons with you and also makes for a great gift as it already comes packaged in a stylish tin ;) Have any of you tried Nudestix? What’s your favorite product/color from this line?
