Nail Gallery Vol:1

by Sarah

I have a confession to make: I suck at putting nail polish on.  Give me any face and I can transform it but when it comes to nails…nope! nail polishes hate me.  I think I just lack the patience so I accepted I will never be one of those admirable women who can just spare an extra 10mins to dress up their nails before they get out the door.

It takes me a very long time and many takes til I get it right and below are some of my recent favourite shades – which I managed to make look half decent after ruining and fixing them a few times as always – hopeless! :))

I’ve shared these shades on my Facebook and Instagram – all links to my social media accounts are on the right hand side bar if you’d like to come join me ;)

Maybelline Color Show – Fuchsia Fever: 2 coats; this shade is more magenta than fuchsia as it’s got a purple undertone.  It dries to a semi matte finish so I applied top coat to achieve the shine as seen in the picture.

Essie – Off The Shoulder: 2 coats; perfect summer shade, also looks great on toe nails.  It provides quite a shiny finish; no top coat used.

O.P.I – Malaysian Mist: 2 coats; this is a great nude as it’s not too pink, nor too beige to blend right in with my skin. No top coat used.

Essie Luxe Effects – Stroke of Brilliance: 1 coat; I love the subtle sparkles this nail polish provides. I did an extensive review of this gorgeous glitter polish and other colors in this range. You can check out the full post here

*I use Seche Vite base coat and Seche Vite top coat
