Multi Faceted

February 13, 2014

Multi color pieces or patterns can become an essential part of one’s closet…especially if the colors within the fabric are timeless.

As you guys might remember, last season there were a lot of floral prints and then we moved onto designer pieces such as the Mary Kantrantzou range with bright colors and bold patterns. These represented the fresh spring/summer fashion beautifully, however majority were seasonal.

This McQueen dress is a perfect example of what I mean when I say timeless. At first glance, the multi color aspect of such pieces is quite subtle, yet upon closer look, we can see there are colors ranging from nudes, blues, soft mint green, purples, browns and even red. In other words, you can take any one of these colors in jackets, shoes, sandals, bags, accessories and so on and pair with this dress.

I went with dark blue and tan to bring out the natural colors within the dress but such a versatile mix of colors can definitely be played up to suit the season, occasion…or your mood :)

If you have any questions regarding the pieces in this set, please leave a message in the comments section below ;) xx
