MAC Fix+ Collection 2018

by Sarah

After the Beauty Blender, MAC Fix+ Spray is possibly the most used product in the beauty world.

So it makes total sense that MAC expanded their range of Fix+ sprays, including the brand new “shimmer version” containing gorgeous swirls of pure pigment….

MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Pinklite & Goldlite

Before we begin, I have a detailed post explaining exactly what MAC Fix+ does and the difference between Fix+ and setting sprays. You can read that post HERE

There are quite a few Fix+ sprays to choose from; however lets begin with the highly anticipated Fix+ Pinklite and Fix+ Goldlite which are newcomers to the line.

These are the original Fix+ formula mixed with pure pigment. So when sprayed over the face (or body), they add a veil of beautiful soft shimmer over the skin – whether you prefer the pink or the gold undertone (or both). They retail at $26 each.

MAC Fix+ Pinklite and Goldlite are launched as part of the Strobe Collection, which also includes strobe creams in different shades, as well as compact cream and powder highlighters.

And then there’s the extended MAC Fix+ line…

With the original MAC Fix+ being such a staple in makeup kits, MAC has launched limited edition versions of Fix+ sprays some time ago which were infused with essential oils. Those sprays were such a hit that MAC decided to make them permanent.

Available in Original, Coconut, Rose and Lavender, you can continue to get the full benefit of Fix+ spray with the added bonus of delicious scents. They retail at $26 each.

If you love your original Fix+ as most of us are avid fans, you’ll really enjoy adding these extensions to your makeup kit.

I personally love the Coconut Fix+ as it reminds me of a tropical island. I also love the concept of the new Pinklite and Goldlite sprays for dialling up that dewy glow both on the face and body.

Also a heads up: there’s a Matte Fix+ lurking in the shadows, so…watch this space if you love a matte finish to your makeup ;)

What do you think of the new Fix+ Collection? What’s your favorite?

Hi Kim, they were launched as part of the Strobe collection so as far as I’m aware, yes they are permanent :)

I love fix+. I have really dry skin and I love the way it melts everything together. The shimmery ones would be great for summer I think.
