Ever since celebrity makeup artist Lisa Eldridge was appointed as creative director of Lancome’s makeup division, there’s definitely been a shift towards more fresh and innovative approach with their product launches.
Lancome’s Spring 2016 Color Collection, inspired by Paris is a great example of their new path to keeping up with the latest beauty trends.
Lancome Spring 2016 Color Collection
Depending on what beauty or shopping site you visit, there’s a lot of items either missing or wrongly featured with this collection. So I put my “blogger research” cap on and checked multiple sources to collate the below items. Other than the blushes (which were only available at Nordstrom), all the links I’ve included are via Macys as they have a fantastic double gift with purchase deal for Lancome so you may as well make the most of it :)

My Parisian Shimmer Cube $59
The star of this collection is this 9-color shimmer cube which can be used as eyeshadow, blush or highlighter. These colors are cased in individual cubes which are perfect for travel and the pastel shades are perfect for that pretty-romantic looks we tend to associate with spring.
Color Design Eye Palette $50 & Le Stylo Waterproof Pencil $27
In the traditional style of Lancome eyeshadow palettes, these two palettes within the Spring Collection feature soft pastels with the added bonus of earthy neutrals. The pencil is a soft pastel blue which is the same formula of the Le Stylo range of pencils which have been getting a lot of good reviews from makeup lovers.
My Parisian Cream Blush $30 – SHOP HERE
With a soft coral and a perfect rosy pink to complement many different skin tones, I absolutely love the packaging of these blushes. As with most cream blush formulas, these can be used to apply a wash of color over the lips also. I can see these carry into the summer looks with a light tinted moisturizer on the face and a sheer layer of these blushes to add a pop of color.
Sensational Effects Lip Colors $22.50 & Lip Lover Gloss $23.50
Of course no collection would be complete without lip color so this collection features two of Lancome’s favorite Sensational Effects lipstick formula in different tones of pink and one of my favorite gloss formulas – the Lip Lover in a gorgeous rosy pink. Check out my review/swatch post of Lancome Lip Lover here
Vernis In Love Nail Polish $15.50
Last but not least are the nail polish in this collection. Whether you want a soft baby blue, a classic nude/coral or a deep violet berry, the high gloss finish of these formulas will help you breeze through your spring looks in utmost style.
Lancome Spring 2016 Collection is now available at major department stores and online. I’m really enjoying seeing Lancome get such a facelift in terms of their product variety and trends, and I’m looking forward to their upcoming launches.
Let me know what you think of this collection and which are your favorite items :)
