BeautyProduct Reviews FRESH Black Tea Age Delay Firming Serum April 26, 2016 I love discovering new favorites when it comes to beauty products but it’s even more exciting when I discover skincare products that really work. For the past month, I’ve been testing out the new Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Firming Serum and I’m so impressed with the results. Those of you who read my Skincare Power Trio post already know I’ve been using the Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Eye Concentrate cream for many years and swear by it, so now that I tried the serum too, I’m even more convinced that Fresh is really onto something with their black tea line of skincare. Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Firming Serum + Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Eye Concentrate I have combination skin; oily T-zone and normal everywhere else. I can’t use heavy or overly moisturizing creams as they always break me out, so I prefer serums which are not only lighter in consistency but they’re highly concentrated and absorb better into the skin delivering faster and more effective results. I started off with a sample pot of this firming serum from Sephora – just to test out how my skin would take to it; and by day 4, I literally ran back to the store to get the full size. That’s how amazing my skin looked and felt. Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Firming Serum is clear and very light in consistency. It spreads evenly across the skin leaving a beautiful sheen; absorbs really fast and dries without leaving any oily or sticky residue behind which is extremely important for me. The scent is also very mild, I can only pick up on a blend of tea and honeysuckle. Described by Fresh as: a treatment serum that smoothes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while providing a firmer, luminous look. Contains a complex of black tea ferment, black tea extract, blackberry leaf extract, and lychee seed extract – proven to inhibit damaging free radicals and helps to improve skin elasticity. Peptides help firm the skin, defy the visible signs of gravity, and smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Honeysuckle leaf extract helps firm and soothe the skin. I can definitely confirm the firming, smoothing and brightening effects of this serum. I use 2-3 drops of the serum nightly and I pretty much noticed a general tightening and luminosity after the first use. Although you can use this serum as a day and night treatment, I prefer to stick to my SPF moisturizer during daytime and use concentrated serums like these at night when the skin replenishes itself and can do with a helping hand. Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Firming Serum The Black Tea Age Delay Firming Serum comes in a dark brown glass bottle and has an interesting “flexible” nozzle. Usually serums will have a dropper. With this particular serum, you hold the bottle upside down, bend the plastic nozzle which disperses the product drop by drop. It’s an interesting design but makes sense as there’s no air going into the bottle which keeps the product as pure and fresh as possible. This serum is suitable for all skin types, however the Fresh Black Tea line features a full range of products including cleansers, masks and more moisturising creams – if you want the additional hydration. Fresh Black Tea Age Delay Line Fresh, as a brand in general is a strong contender in skincare and whether through my own personal experience or the hype I see surrounding all their products, I highly recommend them if you’re after new skincare products or have specific skincare needs to cater to. Black Tea Age Delay Firming Serum retails at $75 for 1.0oz bottle as pictured; or $98 for 1.6oz. Bit expensive but they always use natural ingredients. I’ll have to get a sample of the serum and eye cream. Thanks for the review!
