Too Faced Melted Liquified Longwear Lipstick

July 25, 2014

Can we just stop and admire the color of this lipstick for a minute? At least that’s what I keep doing when I wear this Too Faced Melted Liquified Longwear Lipstick in Melted Fuchsia :)

I held off on doing the review for this lipstick, as I heard there were more colors coming and now that those shades have also been added to the Melted line of lipsticks, I can give you my thoughts and of course the full review on these amazing babies.

List of all colors and swatches are at the end of the post with links (including options for worldwide shipping)

Too Faced Melted Lipstick

As described by Too Faced Cosmetics, these lipsticks have the staying power of a stain, the intense color of a liquid lipstick and the high shine of a gloss in one long-wear formula. And I couldn’t agree more with all their claims. I don’t know how they achieved this formula but it is the most pigmented, intense and creamy lipstick I have ever worn. It’s also free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates.

There are many gorgeous colors within this line but I was so drawn to this super vibrant fuchsia – I just had to have it! Now that I know how amazing the formula is, I will be going back for more shades soon.

Too Faced Melted Liquified Longwear Lipstick in Melted Fuchsia – in natural light

I took this photo of my lips in natural light; and even though it was quite bright against the window, the color did not lose any intensity whatsoever. And mind you…this is one full coat only! When I say it’s crazy pigmented, I really mean crazy pigmented!

The lipstick comes in a generous size (0.4oz) squeezable tube and considering how little product you need to achieve full coverage, it will last a very long time. The sponge tip is cut on a slant which fits perfectly against the lips and also helps draw a pretty straight line around the edges. I used no lipliners or lip brushes in the picture above so the precision of the sponge tip is quite impressive.

Another big plus about this lipstick is the staying power. Again, I don’t know how Too Faced managed to achieve such a creamy formula which is also long wearing but this stuff does not budge. It also leaves a pretty stain on the lips so you can adjust the intensity of the color by either dabbing a tiny amount over the lips for a soft stain, or build it up for a glossy pout.

Initially the Melted lipstick line started off with six colors. And just recently an extra four shades were added to the collection…so from beautiful nudes to vampy rich colors, you’ll be sure to find a favorite ;)

I would highly recommend this lipstick for its amazing color payoff, longwearing creamy formula and great variety of shades to suit all skin tones as per the swatches above. Too Faced Melted Liquified Lipsticks are $21 in the US; and you can purchase them via the links below, including a link for Free Worldwide Shipping for those of you in countries which may not stock Too Faced Cosmetics ;)

Have you purchased this lipstick? What do you think of the fuchsia color? xx
