BeautyMakeup Tutorials Dark Chocolate Smoky Eye April 27, 2013 Hello beauties!!! As a makeup artist, one of the questions I get asked the most is: “how do I do smoky eyes?”. It’s one of my favorite looks too and as scary as the idea may seem, once you try it and practice a little, you’ll become a smokey eye pro in no time ;) Smoky eye refers to the eyeshadow technique, rather than the colors used. The idea is to have the most concentrated color along the base of the lashes and blend it upwards – towards the brow. As the color goes up, it fades into the lightest shade (or into nothing). The most important step when doing a smoky eye is to blend blend and blend! The idea is to merge the colours into one another, so there are no obvious lines. In this post, I’ve done my personal favorite which I call Dark Chocolate. I listed all the colors and the tools I’ve used to achieve the Dark Chocolate smoky eye but you can use whatever products/tools you have and change the colors to your liking. Share it if you love it! and if you try this look, please send me your pictures!!
