If I had to choose one favorite fashion combo, it would be this set below. Transitional, casual, little bit glam yet edgy…I love combinations that have a touch of everything.
Breaking it all down, every single piece I’ve used in this set is a staple. A good quality leather jacket that can be used in pretty much every season, the comfort of a pair of boyfriend jeans, classic pair of booties that can be dressed up or down, and of course a touch of bling in the shape of a statement necklace.
Talk about statement necklaces, they’ve been around for a few years now but the recent launches are slightly different than the previous trends. They’ve steered away from the initial colorful beads, rocks and gems and gone into metals and chains with a more ethnic style. I’m loving this actually cos I prefer statement necklaces to stand out – just as much as they blend in with the rest of the outfit. It’s there yet it doesn’t take the attention away from all the other pieces…”harmony” is the word I’m looking for :)
