The Body Shop Face Masks

by Sarah

The Body Shop recently extended their Spa Of The World range by launching a line of face masks and I’m feeling blissful just looking at them!

Some of you may remember I did a review post of my favorite body products from this line here, which I still enjoy on a daily basis. I trust The Body Shop products to deliver good quality ingredients coupled with great results so lets take a look at the new face masks:

The Body Shop Face Masks

The Body Shop Face Masks

One of the reasons why I love The Body Shop is because they don’t do things by halves. When they slap a name on their product, it’s not for attention grabbing purposes to make the product sound more appealing or “exotic”. If a Body Shop product has an ingredient or a particular region’s name on the label, you know that there’s a genuine connection to the claims. I think this range of masks is yet another example of The Body Shop’s dedication in bringing the highest quality products to their customers.

In line with The Body Shop’s ethical stance on all their products, these masks are 100% vegetarian; contain no parabens, silicone, mineral oils or paraffins. Furthermore, most of the ingredients are sourced from countries which are a part of their Community Trade program so it’s a win-win situation for all involved.

There are five masks within this collection to take care of all your skin needs or concerns. And of course with multi-masking being the latest skincare trend, you can mix and match your favorite blends.

Especially good for oily/combination skin, this mask not only has exfoliating properties but it also draws out excess oil and gunk to prevent breakouts. If your skin is in need of a deep cleanse, this mask has all the ingredients to provide the right balance.

CHINESE GINSENG AND RICE CLARIFYING POLISHING MASK

Rice extract is one of the most popular brightening/clarifying ingredients in skincare products. Its effects are pretty much instant. I’ve been enjoying Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder for a while now so I can vouch for rice derived ingredients providing softening and brightening results. This mask is designed to revitalize and brighten the skin with the added benefit of ginseng which is known for its energy boosting and glow-enhancing properties.
