Riding on the tail of my post about Becca’s amazing highlighters (review and swatches here), I got news that new products have been added to this gorgeous line…and some extras for Spring 2015!
Starting off with a product that’s definitely calling my name; it’s a limited edition Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Blushed Copper. Described as a warm copper shade infused with rose gold tones, I can see this color looking stunning with bronzed skin, lashes coated with layers of black mascara and glossy nude lips. There’s also a new flat kabuki brush to compliment the copper color theme.
SHIMMERING SKIN PERFECTOR POURED
Next up is a permanent addition to Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector line. After the liquid and powder versions of these amazing highlighters, Becca is now giving us the in-between option with a smooth multi-dimensional cream formula.
The Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured is available in the same shades as the liquid and powder formulas: Pearl, Moonstone, Opal, Rose Gold and Topaz
Considering the results are designed to be the same as what the existing formulas do, if you already have the lotion or the powder and you’re happy with them, the Poured version is not a necessity. I can see these compacts being more travel friendly than the lotion bottles but cream formulas can also be tricky to work with – depending on their texture and longevity. I’ll have to update you guys on what the formula is like and how it wears when I get to try it.
CORRECT & CONCEAL
Mark my words, after the latest highlight/contour craze and all brands releasing contour palettes, next big thing will be correctors, particularly with orange/salmon undertones to counteract darkness and pigmentation. **Check out my Corrector and Concealer posts for in depth information on how these products are used.
Becca is already a step ahead and released two new products in this department. Designed to be the dream team of correcting and concealing, these creamy full coverage products work to cancel out dark circles and pigmentation, as well as evening out skin tone and brightening the under eye area.
Becca is one of those brands that I get excited to see new releases from. From the quality of their products, performance, color range or the gorgeous packaging, there’s always something that catches my attention.
What do you think of these new Becca additions? xx
